Birjand, South Khorasan - In a significant and decisive move, the political, security, and social deputy of South Khorasan's governorate announced that the province is taking steps towards strengthening public participation with 399 neighborhood councils. These councils, as local institutions, play a key role in the development and improvement of the social and economic conditions of neighborhoods.
