This member of parliament criticized the government's import and tax policies, pointing out a very important issue: "Once we charge a person for importing a car, then we say your car is luxury and you have to pay tax; what is really going on?" These remarks reflect his deep dissatisfaction with the management of the car market and pricing.
Hayat Moghadam noted that these prices are not only unfavorable for Iranian consumers but also benefit brokers and speculators. He added: "Many people have to save for years to buy a car, and in the end, they still cannot purchase an ordinary vehicle. This situation is unacceptable."
