The head of the Central Council of the Islamic Coalition Party, referring to recent developments in Yemen and the victories of Ansar Allah, examined the fundamental changes in the power equations in the region. He emphasized that the United States will inevitably accept Iran's sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, stating: "Yemen and the Strait of Hormuz, as two key elements in international equations, have significantly altered America's calculations."
The Impact of Developments in Yemen on Regional Equations
Badamchian, in his remarks, referred to the key role of Ansar Allah in Yemen and added: "The successes of Ansar Allah have not only secured Yemen's safety but have also acted as an influential factor in changing the balance of power in the region." He pointed to recent developments and said that these changes have shifted the power equations in favor of Iran and its allies.
America's Concerns and Acceptance of New Realities
The head of the Coalition Party emphasized that the United States can no longer ignore Iran's sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, stating: "Iran has never closed the Strait of Hormuz and is always seeking to maintain the security of this waterway." He added: "Recent actions by the United States in the region are a sign of this country's growing concerns in the face of Iran's increasing power and that of its allies."
These statements could be seen as a warning to the United States that if military and political interventions continue, it will face more serious consequences. Badamchian concluded by saying: "The change in the power equations in the region requires serious attention to new realities and acceptance of Iran's sovereignty in the international arena."
