Ahvaz, one of the metropolises of Iran, has faced serious challenges in waste management in recent years. The Deputy of Human Environment at the Khuzestan Department of Environmental Protection expressed concern about the situation in certain areas of the city, especially regarding waste and construction debris, and deemed this situation unworthy of Ahvaz.
Need for Attention to the Metropolis of Ahvaz
This official emphasized the importance of special attention to the metropolis of Ahvaz, stating: "The waste and garbage situation in some areas of the city is so inappropriate that it not only harms the beauty of the city but can also have negative impacts on the health of citizens." He pointed out that some of these areas have become pollution hotspots and called for planning and immediate action from the responsible authorities.
Khuzestan Clean Campaign; Today's Necessity
The Deputy of Human Environment in Khuzestan also stressed the need for serious participation from agencies in the "Khuzestan Clean Campaign" and said: "To improve the waste situation, cooperation and support from all institutions and organizations is essential. If each of us acts in our own capacity in this regard, we can help improve the environmental situation and the health of citizens."
It seems that these warnings and concerns need to be taken more seriously. Ahvaz, as one of the metropolises of the country, requires a serious and scientific approach to waste management and environmental preservation. Will the officials respond to these voices of protest and concern?
