He added: "If we only focus on issuing permits, the key objectives of these organizations may not be realized, which could lead to their inefficiency and ineffectiveness."
He also emphasized the importance of closely monitoring the actions of NGOs and said: "Precise planning must be conducted so that the activities of these organizations are not only supported but also continuously evaluated and supervised." This approach can significantly help improve the quality of services and social activities at the provincial level.
Challenges Facing NGOs
NGOs in Hormozgan face numerous challenges, including a lack of financial resources, insufficient support from government institutions, and a lack of public awareness about the activities of these organizations. The Director General of Social Affairs of Hormozgan mentioned: "We must increase public awareness by holding workshops and educational programs and help NGOs to be more successful in achieving their goals."
It seems that given the importance of this issue, executive agencies must increasingly emphasize their role in monitoring and empowering NGOs and seek solutions to support them. This could lead to an improvement in the social and cultural situation of Hormozgan Province.
