The Governor of Ilam has seriously requested contractors of national housing projects to expedite the progress of their work. This emphasis comes at a time when the housing shortage has become one of the main problems in the province and requires immediate attention.
Challenges of National Housing in Ilam
Given the increasing demand for housing, the Governor of Ilam elaborated on the existing challenges in a meeting with contractors. He stated that the current pace of work is absolutely unacceptable and that contractors, as the main players in these projects, must show greater commitment. Insufficient progress in national housing projects has not only led to citizen dissatisfaction but could also have serious economic repercussions for the province.
Need to Accelerate the Implementation Process
The Governor of Ilam also reminded contractors that the government is seeking to fulfill its promises regarding housing provision for various segments of society, and therefore, any delay in these projects will be unacceptable. He emphasized that timely execution of these projects will not only help improve the housing situation in the province but can also lead to economic growth and job creation.
Ultimately, the Governor of Ilam stated that all executive bodies are obliged to cooperate with contractors and urged them to continue their work with greater seriousness and to remove any existing obstacles to expedite the progress of the projects. This request comes at a time when the Ilam community expects national housing programs to reach the implementation stage as soon as possible.
