Heavy traffic on Chalus Road and Tehran-North Freeway has been reported this morning (Wednesday). Colonel Siavash Mohabi, head of the Fara Ja Traffic Police, announced that on the Chalus axis, the route (south to north) between Zanguleh Bridge and Siyah Bisheh is facing heavy traffic. Additionally, on the Tehran-North Freeway, the route (south to north) between the end of Alborz Tunnel and the end of the freeway is also experiencing heavy traffic.
Traffic Status on Other Northern Axes
Colonel Mohabi further explained that traffic on the Haraz, Firuzkuh, old Tehran-Boomhen axis, Tehran-Pardis Freeway, and Qazvin-Rasht Freeway is smooth in both directions (outbound and inbound). According to him, the northern axes are free of weather disturbances and have suitable conditions for traffic. This indicates the readiness of road infrastructure to accommodate travelers in the final days of summer.

Moderate Traffic on Qazvin-Karaj-Tehran Freeway
Colonel Mohabi also pointed out moderate traffic on the Qazvin-Karaj-Tehran Freeway, between Fardis Bridge and Kalak Bridge. This situation indicates an increase in traffic volume on this important communication axis of the capital. It seems that with the end of the summer holidays and the return of travelers, traffic is expected to increase on other communication axes as well.
The head of the Fara Ja Traffic Police urged travelers to check the latest traffic and weather conditions of the connecting axes before starting their journey. He emphasized the importance of managing travel time and added that with proper planning, congestion and long stops on the route can be avoided. Travelers should be aware that road conditions may change rapidly, and therefore, exercising caution during travels is essential.
