In a recent press conference, Nozari, the Governor of Qazvin, emphasized the necessity of utilizing economic opportunities during the trip to Russia, stating: "The volume of imports for this country is about 290 billion dollars, and this is a rare opportunity for us that we must take advantage of."
The Necessity of Increasing Qazvin's Share from the Russian Market
Nozari pointed out that Iran's share of the Russian market is less than one percent, stating: "This statistic indicates that we need to have precise planning to increase Qazvin's share from this great capacity." He added: "Although economic and trade relations between Iran and Russia are expanding, it is necessary for us to pay special attention to Qazvin."
The Governor of Qazvin continued: "The trip to Russia should not be limited to diplomatic meetings, but should have tangible and measurable economic outcomes. Otherwise, these trips will only lead to spending on travel and wasting time."
Challenges and Opportunities
Nozari also referred to the challenges present in economic interactions with Russia, stating: "We must focus on solutions and opportunities while identifying obstacles. The relations between the two countries require mutual cooperation and the design of joint strategies. We need to pay attention to this issue as soon as possible so that we do not fall behind."
He concluded by emphasizing the importance of utilizing Qazvin's capacities for economic development and called for more cooperation with the private sector. According to him, this cooperation can help increase exports and improve the economic infrastructure of the province.
