While the fuel crisis has become one of the main concerns for truck drivers, the Truck Drivers' Association announced that the fuel quota for this group has been unfairly reduced. Seyed Jalal Mousavi, the head of the Truck Drivers' Association, recently reported on the arbitrary and varied allocation of fuel quotas, pointing out that this action not only fails to resolve existing problems but also increases drivers' concerns.
Arbitrary and Unfair Allocation
Mousavi acknowledged that currently, the base fuel quota is allocated in a completely different and arbitrary manner to various drivers. For example, one driver receives 200 liters while another only receives 150 liters. This inequality in the allocation of fuel quotas clearly fuels drivers' dissatisfaction and has led to numerous tensions in this regard.
Problems Arising from Free Quota
In addition, Mousavi examined the free fuel quota and mentioned that at one point its rate reached 600 tomans. This sudden change in the price of free fuel created problems for drivers and put many of them in difficult situations. These challenges clearly indicate a lack of attention to the real needs of drivers and the existing problems in the transportation industry.
Given these conditions, questions arise in the minds of drivers and stakeholders in this field: Are officials considering effective solutions to improve fuel supply for truck drivers?
