In a recent press conference held in Arak, the representative of the people of Arak, Komijan, and Khondab in the Islamic Consultative Assembly stated the importance of the role of health workers in the health system, saying: "Health workers are the main link between the people and the health system, and the data collected by them serves as the basis for major decision-making in the country's health and treatment sector."

This parliament member added: "Today, in a situation where the health system faces multiple challenges, health workers can help improve the quality of health and treatment services by providing accurate statistics and information. As representatives of the health system in local communities, these individuals are closely familiar with the problems and needs of the people and can act as a reliable source for decision-makers."
He also referred to the importance of training and empowering health workers, stating: "More attention should be paid to the training of these personnel so that they can perform their duties better and more effectively. In fact, investing in the training of health workers is an investment in the future of the country's health system."

This parliament member further added: "Despite the existing challenges, if health workers are properly equipped and supported, they can act as a driving force in improving the health status of the community. We must pay attention to the fact that major decision-making should be based on real and field data that only health workers can provide."
