Astaneh Ashrafiyeh - In an important meeting, the Director of the Cooperatives of the Gilan Department of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare examined the potential capacities of the cooperative sector in the province and emphasized the importance of activating border cooperatives. This issue is particularly significant in the current conditions where the need to increase the country's export capacity is felt more than ever.
Hidden Capacities in the Cooperative Sector
The Director of Cooperatives in Gilan pointed out that Gilan province, as one of the border provinces, has high capacities in the field of exports, noting that activating border cooperatives can directly contribute to increasing export volume and facilitating trade processes. He also mentioned that by strengthening these cooperatives, economic prosperity and increased employment in these areas can be achieved.
Sustainable Development through Cooperatives
The Director of Cooperatives emphasized that cooperatives can not only succeed in exports but also contribute to sustainable development in border areas by creating jobs and strengthening social infrastructures. This is while many of these areas face numerous economic and social challenges and require serious support.
Given the geographical position of Gilan and access to the markets of neighboring countries, activating border cooperatives can be proposed as a key solution to achieve the country's economic goals. It seems that with cooperation between government institutions and the private sector, the necessary grounds for the growth and prosperity of these cooperatives can be provided.
