In recent days, General Mousavi, the commander of the Aerospace Force of the IRGC, referred to Iran's advancements in drone technology and disclosed information about America's copying of the Shahed 136 drone. He emphasized that the Americans are now compelled to produce a similar aircraft named Lucas, and this action will be added as a new weapon to their combat organization.
Competition in the Drone Arena
General Mousavi stated that the Shahed 136 drone is recognized as one of Iran's strengths on the military scene, adding: "This drone has not only been effective in Iran's military operations but has also become a successful model for other countries. The construction of Lucas by the Americans indicates that they are seriously concerned about Iran's capabilities in military technology."

The commander of the Aerospace Force of the IRGC also referred to the Operation Vow of the Truth, saying: "This operation is not only a record holder for the use of drones in the military history of Iran but also demonstrates the unparalleled capabilities of Iranian drones in the battlefield. These successes enable us to respond effectively and appropriately to any threat."
