Qom, in a specialized session dedicated to examining the challenges of contemporary jurisprudence, the head of the Research Institute for Contemporary Jurisprudence expressed his views on the capacities of Shia jurisprudence. He emphasized that Shia jurisprudence, considering the rapid transformations of society and the increasing needs of contemporary humanity, has the ability to respond to new issues.

He added: "As we progress in contemporary jurisprudence studies, the vast capacities of Shia jurisprudence to confront new challenges and the needs of today's humanity become more apparent." The head of the institute pointed out that Shia jurisprudence can serve as a rich source for providing innovative solutions, stating: "Current social, economic, and cultural issues require careful examination and new ijtihad, which Shia jurisprudence can play an effective role in addressing."
