A new precipitation system will enter the country tomorrow (Friday, September 27) and rain showers and thunderstorms are expected to begin in some provinces.
Forecast of the country's weather
According to the Meteorological Organization, today (Thursday, September 26), clear skies are predicted in most parts of the country. Rain showers and thunderstorms are expected in some areas of Gilan province and western Mazandaran, southern Kerman, southern Sistan and Baluchestan, and the heights of Hormozgan in the afternoon and early evening hours.

Details of the precipitation system and affected areas
Amir Hossein Naghashineh, an expert at the Meteorological Organization, said: "From the afternoon of Friday, with the passage of a wave from the mid-level of the atmosphere from the northwest, increased cloud cover, rain showers, thunderstorms, and strong winds are predicted in West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan, Ardabil, and the western coasts of the Caspian Sea. Late Friday, rain will continue in the western coasts of the Caspian Sea, Gilan, and western Mazandaran."
Naghashineh also added: "On Saturday, rain showers and thunderstorms are expected in West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan, Ardabil, Gilan, Mazandaran, and Golestan, and on Sunday, rainfall will continue in the Caspian Sea coasts, North Khorasan, and the Alborz heights."
Wind and dust situation
According to Naghashineh, today and tomorrow, strong winds are predicted in the west, southwest, and east of the country, which may lead to dust storms and reduced air quality at certain times. Additionally, conditions exist for the formation of dust clouds in Iraq, which may reach the western strip of the country, especially the northwest and western Iran.
Until Friday, the Caspian Sea, eastern Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, and Oman Sea will be turbulent and choppy. An increase in wind speed and wave height in these areas is accompanied by a yellow weather warning. In these conditions, caution is advised in recreational and fishing activities and the movement of light and semi-heavy vessels.
Temperature situation in Tehran
In the next five days, clear skies are predicted for Tehran, with a possibility of strong winds in the west and south of Tehran province. Temperature fluctuations in Tehran will be between 22 and 33 degrees Celsius. Additionally, the average temperature in the country over the past week has increased by 1.6 degrees Celsius compared to the long-term period.
