In East Azerbaijan, news is emerging about the holding of a specialized commission to assess the physical and medical capability of 100 applicants for the Hajj Tamattu of 1406. The CEO of the Red Crescent Society of the province announced this after the health screening of 13,000 pilgrims in East Azerbaijan.
Health Screening of Pilgrims
This screening was conducted to ensure the physical health of the pilgrims and their compliance with the necessary conditions to participate in the rituals of Hajj. Given the high number of applicants, this action can have a significant impact on improving the quality of the pilgrims' journey to the Holy Land.
Importance of Assessing Physical Capability
Assessing the physical capability of pilgrims is important not only from a medical perspective but also from a spiritual viewpoint. Pilgrims who are in good physical condition can perform their rituals more easily and with greater peace of mind. This action also reflects the special attention of the responsible authorities to the welfare and health of the pilgrims.
The CEO of the Red Crescent Society of East Azerbaijan also referred to the necessary planning to provide medical services to the pilgrims during the days of Hajj, stating: "We are always striving to provide the best services to the pilgrims and ensure that their journey to Hajj is a memorable and safe experience."
The holding of specialized commissions and conducting necessary screenings demonstrate the serious determination of officials to enhance the quality of the pilgrims' journey to Hajj Tamattu and can serve as a model for other provinces as well.
