In his recent press conference, the Director General of Industry, Mining and Trade of Alborz referred to the details of mining activities in the province and stated that this increase is due to continuous efforts in exploration and exploitation of mines. He emphasized that given the existing potentials, Alborz can become a hub for copper production and thus increase its share in the domestic and export markets of the country.
Exploratory Advances and Future Plans
The Director General of Industry, Mining and Trade of Alborz stated that the process of new explorations is nearing completion, adding: "With new explorations, we can join the major copper producers in the country, and in this regard, we have special plans for training and equipping the workforce as well." This official also announced international collaborations in the field of knowledge and technology exchange to increase mining productivity.
