The Meteorological Organization issued a statement announcing that from Friday afternoon, following the arrival of a mid-level atmospheric wave and the influx of northern currents, the country will face significant weather changes. These changes will particularly manifest as rainfall, temperature drops, and wind in the northwestern provinces and the shores of the Caspian Sea.
Weather Changes in the Northwestern Provinces
It is predicted that rainfall will begin in the provinces of West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan, and Ardabil. This rainfall may gradually spread to other areas as well. Additionally, temperatures in these regions will significantly decrease, which may impact the daily activities of citizens.

Wind and Possibility of Storms
In addition to rainfall, relatively strong winds are also predicted in these areas. Especially along the shores of the Caspian Sea, there is a possibility of local storms that could disrupt maritime and road activities. Therefore, citizens are advised to take necessary precautions during this time.
In other parts of the country, clear skies without rainfall are predicted. However, with the arrival of this rain system, weather changes may soon manifest as intermittent rainfall in other regions as well. For this reason, the Meteorological Organization advises citizens to pay attention to weather forecasts in the coming days.
Consequences and Recommendations
The new weather situation may lead to changes in agricultural plans and economic activities in the affected areas. Therefore, farmers and economic actors should make necessary plans considering these forecasts. Additionally, in the event of heavy rainfall, there is a risk of flooding and damage to infrastructure, which requires preparedness and preventive measures.
