The Semenan police reported four traffic accidents on the roads of this province on Tuesday, resulting in 16 injuries. Colonel Mosi Bozorgi, the head of the Semenan police, announced that fortunately none of these accidents resulted in fatalities.
Details of Traffic Accidents
Colonel Bozorgi described an incident involving a Pride and a Samand at kilometer three of the Miami axis, which accounted for the highest number of injuries with seven victims. He also mentioned a collision between a truck and a Pride at kilometer 16 of the Garmsar-Aradan axis, which resulted in one injury.

Additionally, a collision involving an L90 and a guardrail at kilometer 10 of the Garmsar-Aradan axis caused five more injuries. The fourth traffic accident involved the overturning of a Peugeot 405 at kilometer 18 of the Ivanaki-Sharifabad axis, which injured three people.
Emphasis on Safety Precautions
The head of the Semenan police emphasized the recent rainfall and the slippery road conditions, urging drivers to exercise greater caution on the roads. He recommended that drivers check the condition of their windshield wipers, heating system, and other technical parts of their vehicles before traveling, and to carry enough fuel, warm clothing, and rain gear.
Colonel Bozorgi also stressed the importance of adhering to traffic laws and regulations, stating: "Paying attention to the road, maintaining a safe speed, and keeping a proper distance are effective factors in preventing traffic accidents." He added that by following these guidelines, similar incidents could be avoided.
Currently, all routes are open and there are no issues with traffic, but drivers should exercise more caution under adverse weather conditions. The Semenan police have urged all drivers to follow safety precautions during their travels to prevent unfortunate accidents.
