Impacts on production and farmers' livelihoods
Providing emergency electricity and second fuel can help these units maintain their production under critical conditions and despite the drop in temperature. Additionally, this action can improve the living conditions of farmers and prevent potential damages to agricultural products caused by cold weather. Considering the current weather conditions and forecasts predicting further drops in temperature during the winter season, this credit can be viewed as a preventive and supportive measure.
Alongside this credit, there is a need for more comprehensive planning and training for farmers on the optimal use of this equipment. Given the growing demand for agricultural products and the impacts of climate change, attention to infrastructure and production facilities is essential.
