The "Cheerful مهر Exercise" in Semnan province was implemented to provide the necessary items and equipment for schools ahead of the new academic year. This program began with the allocation of 6 billion tomans for educational supplies across eight counties in the province.
Educational and Sports Equipment
Qasem Sharifi, the Director General of Education in Semnan province, mentioned the details of this plan, stating: "Under this plan, 6 billion tomans worth of supplies and equipment needed for schools have been provided and distributed." He added that this equipment includes teaching aids and educational tools such as boards, markers, chairs, and desks. Additionally, sports equipment including balls, nets, and darts, as well as supplies needed for school health instructors, are also included in this plan.

Sharifi continued: "Nearly 8,000 items of sports supplies needed by students have been distributed across the province ahead of the new academic year." According to him, 650 packages of sports supplies have also been allocated to schools.
Distribution of Consumables and Support for Needy Students
The Director General of Education in Semnan province announced the distribution of over 700 packages of consumable supplies in schools and added: "60 sets of items needed for school health houses have also been distributed as part of this exercise."
Sharifi also referred to his meeting with the Director General of the Welfare Committee in Semnan province, stating: "In this meeting, the issue of supporting underprivileged schools and needy students ahead of the new academic year was discussed." He emphasized that public donations are very effective in meeting the educational needs of needy students.
Dusting and Equipping Prayer Rooms Campaign
Additionally, Sharifi announced the launch of the provincial campaign "Dusting and Equipping Prayer Rooms in Schools of Semnan Province" ahead of the month of Mehr. This plan includes dusting the prayer rooms and adorning schools with images of the martyr leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Supreme Leader, which is set to be implemented in the last week of September.
The Director General of Education in Semnan province concluded by announcing the provision of teachers and educational staff for schools, stating: "Schools in Semnan province will be ready to host students for the new academic year."
