Mojtaba Bayati, in an interview with Mehr News Agency, announced the expansion of the flight network at Kermanshah Airport and the resumption of an airline's operations at this airport.

New Flights Starting from September 16

He stated that with the targeted plans for the expansion of the flight network at Kermanshah Airport and following the actions and efforts made, especially by senior provincial officials and representatives of the people of Kermanshah in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, an airline will resume its operations at Kermanshah Airport.

The director general of Kermanshah Airport added that according to the planned schedule, this airline will resume its operations at Kermanshah Airport on September 16 with two flights on the Tehran-Kermanshah route and vice versa.

Expansion of Flight Destinations

Bayati pointed out the efforts to expand flight destinations at Kermanshah Airport, saying that with the negotiations conducted, we will soon witness the resumption of flights to Shiraz via Kermanshah Airport.

He continued, saying that the resumption of flights to Shiraz is of special importance and can be a significant step in responding to the demands of the honorable people of Kermanshah province and facilitating the travel of passengers.

The director general of Kermanshah Airport emphasized that currently, passengers can travel from Kermanshah Airport to destinations such as Tehran, Mashhad, and Lamerd, and with the expansion of the flight network, efforts will be made to increase passengers' access to various destinations.

Bayati stressed that the expansion of the flight network and the increase of flight destinations at Kermanshah Airport are among the pursued programs, and efforts will be made to provide better services and more appropriate responses to the needs of the people of the province in collaboration with airlines.
