The album "Hammameh" composed by Mohammad Reza Azizi and sung by Seyyed Mohsen Hosseini has recently been released and is now available to fans of Iranian classical music. This work was unveiled after a concert of the same name at the Arasbaran Cultural Center in Tehran and includes diverse pieces from Iran's traditional music.
Project Initiation Inspired by Poetry
The production team of this album has explained that every work has a moment of inception. For them, this beginning arises not only from a melody but from a poem by Hafez. This moment, before being sung and played, resonated in the hearts of the artists and opened a new horizon for thinking about music. They have been seeking a dialogue between the world of poetry and the language of music.

An Effort to Integrate Poetry and Music
In this project, the main musical inspiration comes from the poetic words of Ghorban Valei: "These words that were a whisper in the dust / The soft rain of your name became a song." The dialogue amidst silences that created meaning as profound as words generated an ambiguity that opened a new window each time and guided the performance of the work without imposing it.
The production team of this album believes that the tradition of Iranian classical music is the living memory of a culture, and this memory continues to live only through the act of re-creation. The album "Hammameh" is the result of these explorations and an effort to hear the hidden whispers that sometimes arise from the heart of a verse and extend into music.
The pieces included in this album are "Prelude of Whispers", "Instrument and Vocal of Dashti", "Santur Solo", "Chaharmezrab Dashti Parva", "Instrument and Vocal of Dashti", "Song of the Night Sufferers", and "Rang of Dashti Aftab". In this project, musicians such as Mohammad Reza Azizi (Tar, Taarbass, and Setar), Alireza Daryaei, Mohsen Abadi, Behnam Bayat, Omid Hayati (Kamancheh), Pouya Mohammadi and Hooman Moeini (Santur), Mohammad Reza Darvish (Tombak), and Samin Shariati (Tombak, Daf, and Bandir) are present.
