The ceiling for the flour quota for free-baking bakeries in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province has been set at 300 bags per month. Nadia Sadaqat, the Director General of Economic Affairs of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, stated at the provincial flour and bread working group meeting regarding the current status of bakery flour quotas: Out of a total quota of 600 tons for these units, 129 tons have not yet been purchased, which requires review and follow-up.
Optimal Management of Flour Consumption
Sadaqat emphasized the country's conditions in wheat supply, adding: Given the limited resources and the necessity for optimal consumption management, complete supervision over the distribution and consumption of flour in the province is a priority. All free-baking bakeries are required to sell their produced bread to consumers at the approved price and must be equipped with the "Nani-No" system for this purpose.

Fair Distribution of Quotas and Supervision of Violations
The Director General of Economic Affairs of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad announced the submission of a list of units and approved prices to Bank Sepah to facilitate access to the "Nani-No" system and to upload prices. He also emphasized that the reduction of quotas for some units does not mean their removal from the distribution network, and excess quotas will be allocated to newly established units.
Sadaqat regarding applicants for establishing new bakeries said: These applicants must act with full awareness of the announced quotas before obtaining a license, as no increase in quota will be made after the establishment of the unit. He also deemed the operation of unlicensed bakeries illegal and added: No license will be issued for "bread complexes."
Follow-up on Bakery Violations
He warned that if a bakery repeats violations more than five times, its operating license will be revoked. Sadaqat also referred to the results of tests conducted on the quality of wheat and flour in the province, stating: The quality of wheat and flour in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad has been confirmed in all conducted tests.
The Director General of Economic Affairs of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad added: For a more detailed examination, the quality of the province's flour is being compared with samples of bread from Isfahan province, and the results of this examination are currently being evaluated. Regarding the supply of bread needed for restaurants and cafes, he stated: These units cannot purchase bread freely and without limits from bakeries and must register in the relevant system at their county's governorate and obtain a special bread purchase card.
Dealing with Violating Bakeries
Sadaqat reported the referral of the cases of eight violating bakeries with the highest level of violations in the past three years to the government inspection organization, stating: These units will face penalties ranging from quota reduction to the maximum legal punishment, including the revocation of their business license. The Director General of Economic Affairs of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad concluded by noting that the validation of the per capita flour in rural areas is also on the agenda of the provincial flour and bread working group.
