Hojjatoleslam wal Muslimin Mostafa Rostami, head of the Representative Office of the Supreme Leader in Universities, stated regarding the process of reviewing university religious courses: Religious courses are among the collections that are updated more frequently and rapidly compared to other university textbooks.

Continuous Developments and Updates of Religious Courses

He added: Compared to other general and specialized courses, the volume of textbooks produced over various periods indicates the extent of transformation in the content of religious courses. Currently, in 6 or 7 religious course titles, the number of produced textbooks exceeds 300 titles.

Rostami, referring to the unveiling of the latest titles of religious course books last week, said: Continuous renewal and the production of content suitable for current needs in this field are underway.

Review of Religious Courses in Line with Recent Developments

The head of the Representative Office of the Supreme Leader in Universities continued: In line with recent aggressions and the nation's defense in recent wars, pamphlets for use by professors and reviews of course content have been produced by our colleagues and provided to the professors.

He noted: In addition to these actions, in the overall reviews and content of courses, which are conducted on average every two years, new materials will be included in the textbooks.

Expectations from Universities in the Current Situation

Rostami continued regarding the expectations from higher education officials in light of recent developments and wars, considering the university as one of the points of pride for the country, stating: Student martyrs, martyrs of the scientific movement, and the elites and professors of the country's universities, who have been targeted by the malice and crimes of the Americans, are part of this pride.

He pointed out the attacks on universities and higher education centers in the country, adding: These events indicate that the university and its successes are distressing for the enemy and are targeted; because the enemy seeks to disrupt the scientific, educational, and cultural atmosphere of universities.

The head of the Representative Office of the Supreme Leader in Universities emphasized: We are confident that the enemy has plans for this issue, and accordingly, higher education officials, university presidents, professors, students, organizations, and university collectives must be prepared.

Rostami concluded by saying: Just as the nation was prepared in the face of the American-Zionist enemy, universities must also be ready in this environment. The university should be a vibrant space that narrates the epic, the great victories of the nation, and reminds us of the valuable martyrs; from the students of Minab to the scientists and the martyr leader of the country. It should also recount the enemy's atrocities so that this image of the university is reflected.
