Colonel Mohammad Ali Lakzaei announced on Thursday morning the arrest of three members of an armed robbery gang in Iranshahr County. This action was taken following several incidents of armed car theft in the county and its connecting roads, which had caused concern and disturbed the peace of the citizens.
Identification and Arrest of the Suspects
According to Colonel Lakzaei, the identification and arrest of the suspects was prioritized in the police detectives' agenda. Law enforcement officers, with precise intelligence oversight and round-the-clock field monitoring, managed to identify the hideout of the three-member armed robbery gang in one of the neighborhoods of the county.

After judicial coordination, police operational teams conducted a surprise and swift operation, entering the suspects' hideout and arresting all three members of the armed gang.
Suspects' Confession to Crimes
Colonel Lakzaei stated that the suspects confessed to several incidents of armed car theft in Iranshahr County and the southern roads of the province after being confronted with strong evidence and documents from the police during initial investigations. He emphasized that the suspects were handed over to judicial authorities for legal proceedings.
He further stressed that the security and tranquility of the people is a red line for the police, and the police, with intelligence oversight, will not allow disruptors of order and security to disturb the peace of citizens.
