The epic presence of the people of Birjand in the squares has reached 200 nights. The squares of "Moallem", "Abuzar", and "Madras" have become a gathering place for people who have remained steadfast in their commitment to their leader, creating a new narrative of solidarity and unity every night.
Diverse and Compassionate Presence
In these squares, everyone has a role in this narrative. Some have set up tents, some hold flags and never let them touch the ground, while others have come to raise their voices to the heavens and shout at the enemy. For 200 nights, people of all types, ages, and personalities have gathered in the square. From children holding hands with their parents to young people and the elderly who walk to the square every night.

These gatherings are not only a symbol of solidarity but also a manifestation of the hope and will of the people to stand against challenges and threats. Although each individual may have a different story and motivation, all these narratives converge at one point; where people have turned their presence into part of a larger narrative.
Voices from the Square
Maedeh Fayyazi, 14 years old, is one of the teenagers who is present in the Abuzar square and sometimes in Moallem. She sees her goal in the enemy's despair and says: "The enemy fears our presence in the streets and knows that these people will not be defeated." Mohammad Imani, 10 years old, also holds the Iranian flag and waves it with enthusiasm. He has been present in the square with his family since the early days of the Ramadan war, aiming to make his small voice heard by everyone.
Mahdi Rahimabadi, 42 years old, is a regular participant in the public gatherings. He mentions "unity" and "solidarity" as his motivations for being in the square and says: "Throughout all these nights, we have declared to the enemy that we stand by our system and our leadership, and we will not allow any harm to come to our country." He emphasizes that this presence will continue as long as their leader deems it appropriate.
Mousa Mohammadi, 70 years old, also points out that these public gatherings, alongside the efforts of the armed forces, can lead Iran to ultimate victory. He believes that victory belongs to the nation and that this movement will pave the way for the emergence of Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance).
And the night comes to an end, but the story of this square continues. The people of Birjand, with strong determination and will, will remain in the squares and create new narratives of resilience and solidarity.
