Colonel Mohammad Ali Lakzaei announced on Thursday morning the arrest of three members of an armed robbery gang in Iranshahr County. This action was taken following several incidents of armed car thefts in the county and on connecting roads, which had caused concern and disturbed the peace of citizens.
Identification and Arrest of the Suspects
According to Colonel Lakzaei, the identification and arrest of the suspects was prioritized in the police investigators' agenda. Law enforcement officers, with precise intelligence oversight and round-the-clock field surveillance, managed to identify the hideout of the three-member armed robbery gang in one of the neighborhoods of the county.

After judicial coordination, police operational teams conducted a surprise and rapid operation, entering the suspects' hideout and arresting all three members of the armed gang.
Suspects' Confession to Crimes
Colonel Lakzaei stated that the suspects, during initial investigations after being confronted with strong evidence and documents from the police, confessed to several armed car thefts in Iranshahr County and the southern roads of the province. He emphasized that the suspects were handed over to judicial authorities to proceed with legal procedures.
He further stressed that the security and tranquility of the people is a red line for the police, and the police will not allow disruptors of order and security to undermine the peace of citizens. All citizens are requested to report any suspicious movements and news immediately through the police emergency system ١١٠.
