The Deputy Coordinator for Economic Affairs of Golestan Province announced that this province, with its diverse capacities in the field of sea-based economy, is ready to allocate 6,000 hectares of suitable land for the implementation of investment projects. He emphasized that the development of a 4,000-hectare shrimp farm is one of the projects of interest in the province.

Economic Potentials of Golestan Province

Golestan, as one of the northern provinces of the country, has natural resources and diverse capacities in agriculture and sea-based economy. This province, with its long coastline and access to the Caspian Sea, provides a suitable platform for the development of economic activities in the marine sector. The Deputy Governor pointed out this issue, saying: "We are looking to attract investors to utilize these capacities, and we are striving to create the groundwork for economic growth and prosperity in the province by allocating suitable lands."

Investment Projects and Shrimp Farm Development

The development of a 4,000-hectare shrimp farm is considered one of the key objectives of Golestan Province in promoting the sea-based economy. This project is being planned and implemented with the aim of increasing shrimp production and creating new job opportunities in the region. The Deputy Governor emphasized the importance of this project, stating: "We are seeking to create a supply chain for shrimp production so that, in addition to meeting domestic market needs, the possibility of exporting to other countries is also provided."

Additionally, the Deputy Governor of Golestan referred to other ongoing projects in the field of sea-based economy and said: "Given the existing capacities, precise planning has been carried out for the development of the fishing and aquaculture industry in the province, and we hope that with the attraction of investors, we will witness a significant transformation in this area."

Overall, Golestan, as a province with high economic capacities, requires more attention and investments to exploit its resources. Given the province's readiness to allocate suitable lands, it seems that there are suitable opportunities for both domestic and foreign investors.
