Fatemeh Mohajerani, the government spokesperson, announced in her recent press conference with reporters that the Ministers of Information and Defense would be introduced by mid-Mehr, stating: "We have until October 7 to introduce the proposed ministers and we will make the most of the legal time available."
Emphasis on Supporting Vulnerable Groups
Mohajerani, in this meeting, referred to the government's plans to increase the amount of food vouchers, emphasizing: "The government is aware of the rising prices and will definitely address price gouging and hoarding. We hope to implement this for vulnerable groups by mid-Mehr." She also pointed out the importance of public cooperation in difficult economic conditions.

Diplomatic Achievements and Economic Plans
The government spokesperson further referred to the President's trip to India and his participation in BRICS meetings, stating that it has been decided to establish a BRICS bank with Iran's membership. Additionally, she announced the formation of an artificial intelligence headquarters headed by Mr. Aref, saying: "In line with attention to other issues, the government's effort is balanced development."
Mohajerani stated that with 244 cooperative projects, 28,000 job opportunities have been created, adding: "This success resulted from an investment of 21 trillion and 400 million." She also referred to the 25-degree campaign or the solidarity agreement and the role of the people in this regard, saying: "We still need the cooperation of the people."
Consumption Management and Government Economic Plans
In response to a question about the government's plan to prevent the intensification of pressures from rising prices, she said: "The government is trying to assist with timely payment of food vouchers and subsidies to help with resilience. We do not deny the existence of inflation at all and will address price gouging."
Mohajerani also discussed budget restructuring, stating: "The government allocates the budget according to its income and priorities." She added: "In the 2025 budget bill, over 72 items were merged or eliminated, and financial discipline and transparency are emphasized in wartime conditions."
Economic and Security Challenges
In response to a question about the government's plan to reduce dependence on risky routes, the government spokesperson said: "The government has been preparing for these tough days since autumn 2025 and is working on activating alternative corridors and enhancing the security of routes."
Mohajerani concluded by emphasizing: "The government is striving to support the livelihoods of the people and, alongside subsidies, food vouchers, and the Mother’s Hope card, it will also take necessary actions to support children suffering from malnutrition."
