Colonel Mohibi, Head of the Traffic Police of Faraja, stated that we are in the final phase of the summer holidays, saying: Given the volume of summer travel, we are currently witnessing traffic on many transportation routes across the country, especially in pilgrimage and tourist provinces such as Khorasan Razavi, Qom, Fars, Gilan, Mazandaran, and Golestan.
Increase in Traffic Volume on Busy Routes
He added: Traffic has also been reported on some busy routes such as Haraz, Chalus, and routes leading to Rasht in both directions, and the police predict that starting today, with the beginning of the wave of returning end-of-summer trips, we will see an increase in traffic volume on the country's transportation routes.

Safety Recommendations for Drivers
The Head of the Traffic Police of Faraja advised drivers to avoid rushing and hurrying on their way back, stating: We recommend that drivers do not rush to return and consider two to three times the normal travel time. Travelers should manage their trip well and distribute their departure times.
It is also recommended to rest during the night and choose daytime for continuing the journey to prevent fatigue and drowsiness from causing accidents. Colonel Mohibi emphasized the necessity of avoiding traffic violations that cause accidents, stating: Drivers must refrain from committing serious violations, especially speeding and veering left, which are among the main causes of fatal accidents on the country's roads.
24/7 Police Presence on Transportation Routes
The Head of the Traffic Police of Faraja stated that police forces are present on transportation routes 24/7, saying: Police colleagues are present around the clock on transportation routes across the country and are working to ensure that fellow citizens reach their destinations safely and calmly.
Colonel Mohibi also discussed the police measures for managing traffic during busy summer days, stating: Dealing with accident-causing violations has always been a red line for the police, and during these days, it remains a priority for colleagues nationwide. He added: Speeding, illegal overtaking, veering left, and driving in the opposite direction are among the violations that the police will address, and traffic restrictions will be predicted and implemented for busy routes according to the conditions.
High Accident Routes in Summer
The Head of the Traffic Police of Faraja discussed the routes with the highest number of accidents during the summer, stating: The highest number of accidents during this period has been recorded in the provinces of Gilan, South Khorasan, Ilam, Yazd, and Qom. He further noted the role of human factors in accidents, stating: The most common cause of accidents is human error; however, it should be noted that the road and the vehicle must also be safe.
Colonel Mohibi addressed travelers and drivers, saying: The police's constant recommendation is that fellow citizens should have a proper plan for their trips and determine the start time, stopping points, and arrival time at their destination in advance. Drivers should consider the route as part of the journey and not rush to reach their destination faster.
