Hojjatoleslam Mahmoud Alikhani proposed the establishment of a Museum of History and Civilization of Shia Islam in Northern Iran and stressed the need to pay attention to the local and religious history of the northern provinces of the country. He pointed out the historical capacities of these areas and referred to the role of the people of Mazandaran in historical developments and the formation of Shia movements.
Holding Cultural and Research Conferences
Hojjatoleslam Alikhani, referring to the programs related to Mazandaran Day, mentioned that since 2011 in Mazandaran and since 2021 in Ramsar, these conferences have been initiated. He added: "These conferences are held with the aim of familiarizing people with the local and religious history of the region and have expanded in recent years."

The Friday prayer leader of Ramsar also reported on the connections formed in this area and said: "Mohammad Ibrahim Dailami, the ambassador of Yemen, has traveled to Ramsar, and his representatives have come to Kajar. Connections with researchers and experts in the field of history and Yemen are important in this regard."
New Cultural and Research Programs
Hojjatoleslam Alikhani further reported on the pursuit of three cultural and research programs and announced: "Initial preparations and consultations for the implementation of these programs have been made, and the capacities of interested individuals and researchers will be utilized."
The first program will be the holding of a conference on Shia governments in the northern part of the country. In this conference, various topics such as the Alavids of the Buyid dynasty, the Al-Kiya dynasty, and the Marashi family, as well as the role of Sheikh Zahed Gilani in the developments leading to the formation of the Safavid government and the official declaration of Shia Islam in Iran will be discussed. The second program is the conference of scholars of Ashkurat, where the scientific backgrounds and activities of the scholars of this region in scientific and religious centers will be discussed and examined.
As the third proposal, Hojjatoleslam Alikhani suggested the establishment of a Museum of History and Civilization of Shia Islam in Northern Iran, stating that the goal of this project is to collect, preserve, and introduce works, documents, and narratives related to the historical and religious background of Shia Islam in the northern part of the country. The Friday prayer leader of Ramsar invited those interested in collaborating on these programs and said: "Individuals who have expertise or interest in the history, culture, and religious heritage of the region can contact the office of the Friday prayer leader or the seminary of Ramsar for participation and collaboration."
